MANAGAMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS


To HOMIE we will be running a database with Microsoft Access , this in order to keep a check on the performance of employees . First we will be entering the system all information about employees and their working hours with its respective performances . We will also be adding external factors such as political and financial for better decision from the company and finally adding information about our customers, their needs, wants, satisfaction, previous services choosen in order to maintain control over their constantly needs and delight the customer.
Microsoft Access gives us the opportunity to use your SQL see it , with protect the purpose of protecting the entire enterprise information and use it only for business purposes , protecting employee information , customer intelligence and company´s decisions.
Within the database we will be including :
1- Employee Information
2- Information about our customers
3- Information HOMIE
4- Policy and in the area of financial information
5- Customer intelligence and its profiles.
6- Possible information collected from the external audit with forecasting, controlling, anticipating and planning efforts.
A management information system (MIS) is a computerized database of financial information organized and programmed in such a way that it produces regular reports on operations for every level of management in a company. It is usually also possible to obtain special reports from the system easily. The main purpose of the MIS is to give managers feedback about their own performance; top management can monitor the company as a whole. Information displayed by the MIS typically shows "actual" data over against "planned" results and results from a year before; thus it measures progress against goals.
